Charlotte ready for the German KZ2 Championship 2009

In 2008 she raced in the German Championship in the shifter class KZ2 in tough competition against some of the best drivers in Europe. This year she makes her second year in the series.
- It feels good now that it’s clear what I’ll run this year, so I can start to concentrate on the driving. I’ve worked full time with sponsoring during the winter and physical training. I have never been so well prepared physically for a season, as I am now, says Charlotte.
Further, she explains how difficult it has been with the funding for 2009.
- As for me and many other drivers, it’s difficult to find partners in the overall financial crisis and many companies want to keep their money by themselves. But you have to struggle on and do as much as you can and hope for better times soon, Charlotte explains.
The championship will be held over five race weekends and the first race will be in Oschersleben 24th-26th of April.
- That’s the one track I havn’t driven on before, so I really have to make the most out of the training sessions, says Charlotte.
An addition in the calendar is Tom Trana Trophy, which runs 10th-12th of April at Charlotte’s home track in Gothenburg.
